Pick and Peck

Application name: Pick and Peck

Official home page for the Pick and Peck mobile application (iPhone).

Purpose of the Pick and Peck application

The purpose of the Pick and Peck application is to help a group of friends decide where to eat. One person hosts a short “flock” session, the app finds nearby restaurants, everyone swipes and votes, and the flock lands on a match, a tiebreaker, or a random pick.

Pick and Peck uses an anonymous session so you can join a flock with a display name and emoji. It does not sign you into a Google account and does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Photos, or other Google user data. Restaurant discovery uses Apple MapKit on your device. An optional Google Places lookup (off by default) uses a developer API key to fetch public place details such as phone or website. That call does not use your Google account. Location is used to find restaurants near the host pin. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Not a third-party restaurant brand. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Google.

No ads and no tracking SDKs in the App as shipped.
